The girls are getting big and have started talking a bit more. Kate loved Christmas and she opened gifts like a pro. Tara, not so much. She liked playing with all the new toys but was content to let Kate open them all. Nathan had a great Christmas too and loved all of his great gifts.

Nathan lost his first top tooth last week and got a visit from the tooth fairy. She generously left him two gold dollars, a chia pet (his first), and a whistle. He's pretty cute without the tooth too :) He is also ready to celebrate his 7th birthday next week. I am still in shock that he's about to be 7. Ugh, where did my baby go?

John is back on the East side of town with a new partner. He is pretty happy to be on the East side again. He says there's so much more to do (I think he just likes all the trouble over there). I know this sounds bad, but the union is suing the City of Bakersfield for resending their last, best , and final offer (on their contract) and it looks like it will be going to court by the end of the month. I'm crossing my fingers that it will mean the BPD officers will be getting a raise. John is also looking forward to a week long training class at the end of February.
I'm working everyday, getting more involved in my multiples group (FILMM), joined a relay for life team, and am trying to get something going with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
If there is anyone interested in helping out my Relay For Life team, I'm looking for sponsors. I'm also looking for anyone interested in helping me get some fundraising events under way for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Give me a call or come and find me on Facebook.
I hope everyone is in good health and enjoying the new year!
